Hi,
I am working on FRP Piping system using UKOOA Standard.
AS Per Technical Reference manual
Code Stress Code Allowable

sab (f2 /r) + PDm / (4t) < (f1 f2 LTHS) / 2.0

Where:

P = design pressure

Dm = pipe mean diameter

t = pipe wall thickness

As per above equation i have some question.
1)How can i calculate the value of LTHS?
2)If i want to qualify system in occasional condition.
As per below Load cases
W (f2 = 0.67)
W + P1 (f2 = 0.67)
W + P1 + T1 (f2 = 0.83)
W + P1 + U1 (f2 = 0.89)
W + P1 + U2 (f2 = 0.89)
W + P1 – U1 (f2 = 0.89)
W + P1 – U2 (f2 = 0.89)
How can i define differnt f2 in CaesarII?
3)Should i have to check seggregated occassional case?
4)as per attached caesar file occasional code allowable is 1.0*Sh it should be 1.33*sh.

we have taken reference from below discussion

Thanks in Advance

1) LTHS should be taken from FRP pipe vendor.If you are working with Ameron (Singapore), they got good stress analysis procedure.
2) You can not enter diffeerent f2 values in Caeasr.Make differnt stress files. .67 is the most conservative so you can keep that if everthing is OK.
3)Yes.
4)That discussion say that in ISO not for UKOOA.
