hi:

I am new to Caesar and learning it on the go. I looked at the help file for Mu and this is what it says:

"A friction coefficient may be automatically assigned to every new translational restraint by assigning a value to the Coefficient of Friction field in the Configure/Setup module"

Now I set the friction coefficient as 0.3 in the configuration module but I noticed if I dont apply this in the input at every restraint, the output does not consider the friction. So basically, in order to consider friction effect, the Mu must be entered at every translational restraint. I am wondering why does the help file say it is automatically applied to the restraints if specified in the configuration menu?

Once entered in the configuration file, your value for mu will be automatically added to all NEW restraint vectors.
