Dear All,
From CII Technical Reference, we know that the wind shape factor is based on ASCE #7 figure6-21 between 0.5 to 0.7.
In case our piping is on the pipe rack, where few pipes are parallel together, theoretically, the pipe in the middle of the pipe rack should not exposed to wind as much as the pipe at sides. Does Caesar consider this kind of consideration?
In addition, if my pipe is at elevation 20m, is that means that I have to edit the global coordinate to DY = 20m? SO that this will be considered by the Caesar II when analyzing the wind effect. I am using the wind pressure vs elevation input.
Thank you.
