Please let me know, whether there is provision in WRC 107 & 297 forthe analysis of Tangential nozzle to shell junction. It is observed that PVELITE carry out the WRC analysis considering the tangential nozzle as radial nozzle only, which is not the case.

Please let me know the correct method to analyze.

That is quite correct. We have not considered the hillside or tangential nozzle in the WRC analysis. Treating the nozzle as a radial nozzle is conservative, unless you are considering the Kn and Kb values and/or the pressure indices (stress concentratin factors).

This is an issue I hope we can consider in a later version of PV Elite.
