Hey fellow stressers,

Can someone help me out regarding how to model an elbolet (i.e., do you model it at the "M" point? do you enter an intersection?). I am assuming that like the trunnion attached to an elbow, I model the elbow as a stiff (flanged type) to represent the loss in flexibility? What about the SIF's?

Thanks

Use search function, word elbolet. There are some good topics on this subject on 2006-2008.
