Hi

I started a model in 5.2 and completed it in Version 5.3.

Now, when i executed it, it went into infinite loop. SO, i thought i will change Friction tolerance and friction angle variation etc. I am able to make the changes, save it and then when once i again, when i open the configuration files, it is all in default values.

Same issue with the FRP properties also. I am not able to save them in Configuration file.

Hoping for an early reply

What directory are you trying to save the configuration to? Do you have the proper access rights? Also check to make sure the "caesar.cfg" file isn't set to "read only".

Richard,

I'm getting the same problem and there is no caesar.cfg file on program directory. I'm also not able to open configuration window.

Where the cfg file shall be placed?

Ver 5.2 - Win 7 64bits.

Thanks.

The Configuration Module in the "original 5.20" wouldn't run on a 64-bit machine. This was corrected in the 1st build to 5.20.

During the Installation, the Configuration Module is invoked and the "master configuration file" is saved to the \system directory. Subsequently, any use of the Configuration Module writes the configuration file to the "current data directory".

Notes:
1) The original release of Version 5.20 is dated 090430. If this is the date of your DVD, this is your problem.

2) If you are not receiving notices when new builds are available (there were 4 builds/patches to Version 5.20) then you need to register your software. This is the only way we can e-mail important notices to you.
