I know that Caesar II don't calculate the vacuum but it calculating jacketed pipe. In case of core pressure is less then the jacket pressure how Caesar II is calculating the core? in this case it's like there is vacuum inside the core.

Someone can clarifies this issue?

The piping codes do not addres vaccuum. If you try to run with a "negative pressure", CAESAR II uses the absolute value when determining the longitudinal pressure stress.

Vacuum become important issue for large pipes. Jacketed pipes are not very large, so why are you asking?

I'm asking cause I'm working on jacketed pipe 1.5" (core) and 2.5" (jacket) and the jacket's pressure is the double of the core's pressure.
