Can you please clarify how PVElite calculates IP? As shown in the longitudinal stress due to IP between node 40 and 50 reads 13.08 MPa. However, in the load case IP table below, it shows that IP at node 40 is 15.27 and also shows it is 0 at node 50.

Can you please clarify the relationship bewteen the load case table and the longitudinal stress table.

Should IP at node 40 reads 13.08 instead of 15.27

Hello Yvan

IP represents Design Pressure. To work out the axial stress the approximate formula is PD/4t. I do not know any of these values, so it is impossible for me to sort this one out.
