I cannot get the links to work for the "Sticky Topics" in the topic you are refering to, and cannot find the topics through the search function. Does anyone know the specific topic name?

Is the Caesar II forum functioning correctly since the Intergraph/Coade merger?

The links are all broken because we moved the Forum to a new server.

The B31.1/B31.3 don't define an Operating stress, that is the reason. Search again, you should find it.

This link just worked for me. All I did was click the "sticky topic" on the 1st page of the CAESAR II Forum.

To follow other links (that may not work now), note in the link the "Number=9084#Post9084" string. Change those "9084" numbers to the number of the post you're looking for. Like this: Number=1462#Post1462

Yes this is a pain, but I can't fix it.

Dear Mr saravanan,
Allowable stress for operating case will be available only if you choose "APPENDIX P" option. Refer ASME B31.3 , APPENDIX-P, PAGE 277, Equation p1a, p17a, p17b.
