I have to calculate a jacket pipe on Caesar II 5.20 and I got some problems to introduce the seismic input:
should I introduce this seismic input for the jacket and core or I can introduce them only for the jacket?

any advice or help will be appreciated.

Hi Dan,

Thank you for your answer but can you explain why both? cause there is restraints between the jacket and the core (in my case I have restraints without gap for X and Y, the Z axis is the center line of the pipe)

Because total force V= g x W where W is total load = W jacket + W core.
