hello

for modeling a jacket pipe , the seism schould be introduced for jacket and core or for jacket only

Be carefull here, the seismic event excites the external restraints only. Everything else (internal restraints and core piping) just goes along for the ride.

If the model has been built such that the core piping is connectd to the jacket using CNODEs, then all you have to do is apply the spectrum to the restraints (or restraint groups). CAESAR II will only apply the spectrum to the external restraints.


(If you're performing "static-seismic", then yes, you need to apply the "g-Load" to all of the piping.)
