hii All,

I had Installed CAESAR-II 5.3 version(build no.:-101122), and have some following queries:-

1) Version 5.3 had added a User Configurable Nozzle limits check, what does arrow symbolizes in model when we select an nozzle limit check on any one of the node.

2) What does Local element coordinates mean in context with nozzle limit check.

3) 5.3 version had added a new restraint report showing reactions in local element coordinates. what
formula had been used to cal. the "force" & "moments" in this local restraint report..

plz provide me the solutions for my queries.

1) The arrow is drawn to show the direction cosines that you entered. This should be along the major equipment axis.

2) There is a large write-up on local coordinates in the Technical Reference Manual - Chapter 6. When verifying the loads on equipment nozzles, the loads need to be aligned with the local coordinate system of the equipment (such as the WRC coordinate system). This is why you need those direction cosines mentioned in #1 above.

3) It isn't a forumula, it is a coordinate transformation, using the transformation matrix (based on the element direction cosines).

Go into the LIST, create a "block" of elements, then duplicate the block, applying a node increment.

In addition, after that, go to Global coordinate and choose proper coordinate for the first nodes of different sections.

Go to Configuration File and Graphics Settings and change the Marker size as you wish.

Dear Sir,

In Caesar 5.3 version, Stress Isometric generation is taking place, but with some error message:-

"" Acad.exe- Entry point not found

The procedure entry point?acdbIscurrentDocumentDatabase@@YA_NPAVAcDbDatabase@@@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library acdb18.dll. ""

After that some "Proxy information" is coming..

Stress Iso generation takes place after clicking OK..

please provide me the solution for this.

Hi Ashutosh,

Do you have AutoCAD installed, if yes, can you run it? Then open the dwg files you just created.

This sounds like you need to re-install Autocad...
