Hi everybody.

We're experiencing some problems regarding to two license hardlocks on diferent machines.

Server 01: 9 licenses shared with all the company.
Server 02: 5 licenses with restricted users acess.

The problem is that when a user get a license from server 01, one license is also detached from server 02 and stays blocked as if someone were using it. So, when this guy that is "using" two licenses gets out of the program, one license is still locked on the server 2 and need to be dropped manually.

Aditional information: The localhost configuration has two IP adress setted. The first is the priority one. So when the program opens it first looks for licenses at server 01, if there is no license available it will try to get one on server 02.

Find attached the modified nethasp.ini file that is being used at Ceasar II directory.

How can we solve this problem?

Thanks again.

Regards,

Diego JG Balbi.

According to Aladdin, a given machine/software program can't grab two licenses, but we'll check this out.

I sent it off to Aladdin. They want to have a conference call, so I'm waiting on those details. I'll forward them to you as soon as I get them.

I am afraid that we are facing the same problem as well.

Hope for the solutions.

We now change the net editon key to the local one.

The merging of licences from both harware locks to one hardware lock is the last solution as i also experience the same problems in two oranizations in my previous job who is dealer of Intergraph products in India.

Dear Surjeet,

The problem on merging the two hardlock licenses is that each one is from a different project. So we cannot merge them. If one project runs out off licenses due to over usage of the other project it would be a mess!

Still waiting.
