Having loaded CAESAR II 2011 edition, I entered a complex, existing file which was created (on another machine) using 5.2. I made a few editing changes, then the file hung up. The graphics changed to dotted (!) followed by a complete shut-down and system re-start. This has happened three times now with the same file. I could accept a file abort, but killing the whole machine is a pain.

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem ? Or maybe it is the file that has an error ?

We haven't seen this behavior to date. Anytime there is a problem with the graphics, the first thing to try is to change the video driver used.

Go into the Configuration Module, and on the "Graphics Pane", scroll down until you find the setting for the Video Driver. Change this from OPENGL to Windows Basic Video. Save the configuration and try that file again.
