Hi All,

I am new to CAESAR-II, following are some of my queries:-

1)There are 9 conditions given for Temperature & Pressure during design of a particular piping systems...if we want to give conditions more than that say almost 20 Temp. & Pressure conditions, so how is it possible..??????

2) Is it possible to have interface of CAESAR-II with INVENTOR software??????????

waiting for reply..

thanks & regards,
Ashutosh

Ashutosh,

1.Use another CAESAR II file with same model but different conditions since you want to build up more than 9 cases.

Indeed,

Joseph explained better.

In any case, it is a good idea to maintain in all the files the normal operating temperature and the design temperature for reference and to change only the other 7 temperatures.

I'm unaware of an interface with "Inventor".

Off the top of my head, CAESAR II can import PCF and Inventor Routed Systems can export PCF or you might be able to harvest the PCF from its ISOGEN module when you spin off isos.

Stupid question time: I thought Inventor had its own stress analysis module?
