What will be line temperature for burried portion under standard B31.8

Can i go for Design temperatue or Maximum operating temperature for underground(UG) portion with reference to Design temperature of AboveGround(AG)portion in same line?

Have you worked on buried line earlier, if not refer the Appendices in B31.1, you will find the answer.

You should use max operating temperature, see T2 in 833.2 section of ASME B31.8
