Dear moderators,

May I survey with Coade when the new PVElite incorporating ASME VIII Edition 2010 will be launched?

Grace period of 6 months is about to over.

Thank you!

Tan

Dear Mukesh,

Thanks for your indication and positive reply.

Can any moderator advise a more accurate time frame (e.g. 50th week 2010)where PVElite 2011 which incorporating ASME Edition 2010 will be ready for download?

Usually there will be many employees spending leaves during festival season especially 52th week. More over, users will need time to verify/validate the new release before use early January 2011. We hope it will be ready for download this or next week.

Thanks!

Tan.

Hello Tan

The 2011 version of PV Elite is due to be released by the third week of December. That is our target date. We are just finishing the Beta test to see that everything operates correctly, and then we have to make the DVD's.

Would it be possible in this new release of PVElite to calculate hydrotest pressure for heat exchangers acc. DIV 2 (since this is not possible at the moment)

Hello Tan

It is too late to deal with this now as we are so near to the release date. However, I have passed this informaation on to the heat exchanger programmer.

Hi Tan,

PV Elite 2011 will analyze ASME VIII-1 or VIII-2 exchangers in accordance with VIII-1 part UHX. As you might realize, the rules for these sections of the Code should be the same. Other values such as the allowables will be different when you are using Division 2 as you would expect.

Dear Ray,

We are in week 52 now.

Seems Intergraph unable to launch it by 3rd week of December as scheduled/planned.

Any possibility before 31st December?
Edition 2010 will be enforced in less than 72 hours.

Thank you & happy new year 2011!

Hi SK,

PV Elite version 2011 was finished and released for duplication about 2 and half weeks ago. Our production department has been steadily sending out the new version since we received the dvd's. Our customers who are current on their updates and maintenance will automatically receive the new version. So your new version of PV Elite 2011 should arrive in the near future. There are a lot of dvd's to ship so please be patient.

Wishing all a prosperous and happy 2011.

Hi, Scott.

Happy new year 2011 to you.

Thanks for your reply.

We usually see annoucement & download notice on Intergraph website before we receive the DVD installer.

This time, I did not see any annoucement of PVElite 2011 or download advise on Intergraph website until now.

Can help us to get this 2011 release? We have urgency on this latest version.

Thank you!

Hi Scott,

I have checked with our local Intergraph agent, confirmed they received 2011 installer and arranging to courier to us.

May be Intergraph does not choose to annouce or provide download of new release like before.

Expecting to receive it in a day or two, we close this discussion now.

Thank you!

S K Tan
