PS:
I feel that putting the whole responsibility of errors on checker makes the piping stress analyst immature. They must be taught the importance of correctness, quality & safety. Checker can be at best an inspector or auditor to ensure that the proper procedure is followed, but should never do complete check, as usually done for catagory 1 lines in many firms. This does not allow analysts to take responsibility of their work. Just meeting schedule within budgeted hours may not be enough for their own growth! They need to learn from consequences of their own errors!
