From PVElite report, i can conclude that Impact Test is not required. I didn't "CHECK ON" the Impact test requirement, no warning prompt from software.

When I check with ASME CODE Div 2 clause 3.11.2.2, seems IMPACT TEST is required. So now, Authorized Inspector and client is query on Impact Test Requirement.

Please advise.

For your information, when i modeled with other software IMPACT TEST is MANDATORY

From table 3.15 and figure 3.8, the maximum thickness is 102mm only. Is it ASME allowed to do extrapolation if the thickness is higher than that table and figure (graf)?

The situation now is the vessel is under fabrication. Luckily, we buy the vessel plate with impact test condition....

We could have stated in PV Elite that we used extrapolation, however we did not do so. Perhaps we should set a warning that 102 mm has been exceeded. What do you think would be best for us to do?
