Sir;
ASME B31.3 States that:

"301.5.4 Vibration. Piping shall be designed,
arranged, and supported so as to eliminate excessive
and harmful effects of vibration which may arise from
such sources as impact, pressure pulsation, turbulent
flow vortices, resonance in compressors, and wind."

I have seen examples of psv and water hammer effect in caeser application guide. can any body refer me any study material about how to perform vibration analysis of pumps and compressors in caeser ii
thanks in advance

Look into harmonic analysis. You will be able to examine the response to a cyclic displacement (mechanical vibration) and also the response to a cyclic force (pulsation or acoustic vibration).

Have a look at ASME VIII Div 2 Section 4.16 (2007 Ed), or EN1591.
