Hi.
I have a doubt about the PVElite Clip Calculation, using WRC-107.
I performed a calculation using the following parameters:
Type: Retangular
C11 = 26.5mm
C22 = 565.00mm
Vessel Thickness = 12.5mm / corrosion = 3.00mm
Gamma = 121.87
At the beginning of the calculation report , the program accuses a note, that when considering figures 3A, 3B, 4A e 4B, the curve value was exceeded.
I performed a manual calculation and the results were pretty close to calculated by the program, without any extrapolation.
So, the question is: "what indicates the note accused by the program" ?
I figured out that when it calculates the relation beta1/beta2 or beta2/beta1, the results are out of the range determinated in the tables 7 and 8 of WRC-107 bulletin.
This could be a problem? Do I have to make another consideration to correct this, like a FEA, or just considering loads multiplied by a safety factor I can assure that the equipment will not fail?
Best regards,
Guilherme
