I would lie to share & know some classic information for DIV - 2 vessel.

As, ASME SEC VII DIV -2 Ed 2007, clause 4.5, while performing Nozzle Reinforcement calcualtion, limit of Shell Reinforcing area shall not be overlap. Now, for Multiple Openining Case Div-2 has set rule to Modify shell reinforcement limit to avoid overlap.

However, While Performing DIV-2 Design under PVELITE 2009 & 2010, Software doesn't perform modified Limit calcualtion. Anyway that's not even big deal. User Can avoid Overlap limit by Neglecting Reinforcement Area from Shell. But PVELITE doesn't do this too.

I would like to know, PVELITE Neglect Reinforcing area under Div-1 calculation then why Shell area is not being neglected in Div-2. (evenif , user select neglect A1, software use shell area).

Is it missed by PVELITE or having some reason to do so?
