Hi,

Actually Nozzle loads are exceeding the allowable loads at the minimum design temp case. , but nozzle loads are within limit of allowable loads at maximum & operating design temp.

So I decided to perform the WRC 107.

but in WRC 107 , at VESSEL DATA option which temp. I have to select Maximum design temp. OR MINIMUM design temp. of vessel to check the stresse at Shell & nozzel junction of equipment.

Hi.

You have to specify minimum design temp for obtaining flexibility. My advice is that, you have to look in to support location, some time if we place support at wrong place, then it will generate additional force and moments in min temp case. Whereas during operating or maximum design case, pipe may not rest on that particular support due to thermal expansion. Hence nozzle loads are allowable in operating and max design temp case.

First you can check with nozzle option (WRRC 297).
