Dear All,
May not be related to pvelite..... but will be useful for me...
Pls refer attached sheet for the study purpose, its a part of heat exchanger flange.
Flange is connected with contenment chamber. where 20.8 bar pressure is acting as shown in drawing. and 3bar pressure acting near to flange.

Can any one tell that for desiging the flange which pressure we have to consider?

Hello dhaval

I have looked at your PDF. This is a special design, that is not fully catered for in ASME. You would have to design the cover as floating head (type (d)) in the code. Perhaps you should sent me an email at techsupport@coade.com.
