Dear sir ,

First , according to the analysis program (CAESARII) , the users need to specify individual parameter for each bellow .

For example ,

E1 and E2 are flow bellows.

E3 is balancing bellow.

1.Now , if we specified the axial stif. =1000 lbs/in and lateral stif.=100000 lbs/in for these three belows (E1,E2 and E3 get equal value) , how should we write the right stif. on the data sheet ?

2. If we found the axial compression displ. 0.7 in. at E1 and axial tension displ. 1 in. at E2 , also axial compression displ. 0.6 in.at E3 , how should we write
the right axial movement on the data sheet ? (Including both compression and tension data or ??)

Best regards,

What do you mean by "data sheet", the CAESAR II input dialog or a vendor form for ordering the joint?

Sorry, Richard

I forgot to say that the data sheet what I used is from Pathway's form and
I got the information from them that all the axial and lateral stiffness should consider "Whole" stiffness to avoid confusing.
My question is how do we input the right value in the vendor data sheet ?
As I know , especially, the "Whole" lateral stiffness is related to the total length of pressure balance EJ ; is there any formula applied for this ?

Best regards,
