Hi all,

I have a problem about nonlinear system as follow:

+ My model has some +Y restraints. When I use default friction stiffness to solve the system, it's not convergence. The traditional way is to reduce the friction stiffness value to get convergence. However, I can not get the convergence even I set the lowest friction stiffness value.
+ So I changed to Y restraint (linear) to solve the problem. And vertical forces (FY) are negative values. This analysis will be issued for construction. I'm wondering that can I allow +Y restraint in real world (means Y restraint in my calculation)?

I need some guidelines. If someone could help, I appreciate that.

Best regards.
