Dear Richard, Dave, and others,

i have searching a refernce to do a dynamic analysis for slug flow using CAESAR II, but i only found it in COADE Seminar Note Section 5, and it is only one page, from that page i take a conclusion that Dynamic analysis for Slug flow can be done using Spectrum Analysis just like solving waterhammer case in dynamic analysis, correct me if i'm wrong.
The only matters that it is difficult to get the right data for Slug Cylinder length, so how do you usually assume the length of Slug Cylinder?
Please enlighten me...
Thanks..

There is no way to know for certain, so you make assumptions:

- What could the smallest slug be that I would have to worry about?
- What could be the largest slug that they system could handle without destroying itself?
- What would be a reasonable slug, midway between the previous two?
