This is a *.pdf file which is a very good primer on dynamic piping design (more than 100 pages so do a "save target as" and print it afterwards). The title of this document is "Seismic Design and Retrofit of Piping Systems" and it was authored by some very smart engineers. You should read it in its entirety and then reread the dynamic parts of your Caesar II users' manuals.
