Hi,

I have some problem concerning nozzle sizing.I have designed the surge tank and I located the nozzles necessery places.Problem nozzle is about 44"-48" and I didn't size the nozzle.I use SA - 516-70 material.There is only schedule std 42" pipe the biggest.

Final Required Thickness, tr45 = Max(tra, trb) = 9.4406 mm
Available Nozzle Neck Thickness = .875 * 9.5250 = 8.3344 mm --> FAILED

How can I solve this issue or are there any material providing this sizing?

Thanks.

Hello Tunc
