Dears,
I installed Caesar II version 4.4 onto an XP machine. Whenever I start it up I get Note:No Local ESL found, continuing to check for the ESL over internet and then the following error: Fatal Error #5333 No active NetHASP server was found. This applies to IPX and NetBios. HASP error code = 15. Please help me to solve this problem.

What type of ESL (key) do you have?

Do you really have a white ESL, and is it attached to your computer?

Next, check the status of the HASP driver. Open a "Command Prompt" and then navigate to \caesar\assidrv. From this directory issue the command: "hinstall -info". If the driver isn't loaded (i.e. this command doesn't show valid version numbers), then install the driver manually using: "hinstall -i".

I removed Caesar II Version 4.4 from system. Now i try to install Version 5.20 in my personal computer. During installation of Version 5.20,I selected Red ESL(don't know which one need to select)then HASP license manager (selected Application)installation, the results comes "HASP SRM Runtime Environment Installation omitted.Newer Version already installed.Error code 29014750".
After Installation, When i start Caesar II,It is not opening, "HASP SRM Protection System. HASP key not found(H0007)"
Please help how to install version 5.20. If installation manual is available, please can i have that manual.
Thanks

You need to know what type of key (ESL) you have. Version 4.40 used parallel port keys: white for local, red for network. Version 5.00 and later use USB keys: green for local, red for network. If you don't know what you have go find out - you can't run without a key.

The installation of the HASP drivers sounds like it worked. Your problem is that the software can't find the ESL. If you really have a network key, there are a few more "configuration" steps that may be necessary for your specific system.

On the DVD, there is a directory named "\SetupESL". This directory contains two "Word Documents". Read these, if you still have problems, send an e-mail to TechSupport@coade.com describing your system details and the error message.
