That was a bug. What exact "build" are you running?

That is the first/initial release of Version 3.10. There were builds released - assuming you registered the software you should have received a notice when these became available.

The last build for Verson 3.10 is still on this website, in the "Download" area. You want to grab tk310_090527.exe and run it on your machine to update your TANK installation.

Mr. Richard,

I have version 3.10, (Build 080929) and the report still shows.... bottom plate weight .......0.0. Any idea how i can fix it? Also, how can you add vacumm pressure to the input screen? Thanks.

There was a later build dated 090527. You should have received an e-mail notice when this was released, if you didn't you need to register your software (since that is the only way we have of contacting the actual "users" of the software).

There is a whole dialog for the specification of "external pressure" parameters.

If you do "\help\about TANK", what "build date" does it show you?

In the \TANK program directory, check the dates for:

1) "apisolv.exe"
2) "apiout.exe"

... and send your e-mail address to "techsupport@coade.com". This is nuts, what you have should be working fine.

Mr. Ay,

Here are the dates:

1) "apisolv.exe" 5/27/2009
2) "apiout.exe" 5/27/2009

I have already emailed tech support yesterday and I haven't received any response yet. Let me know. Thanks.

Mr. Will,

I dont know if you solved your problem described above or not... But let me explain it.

If bottom plate weight is calculated as 0 by the software, pls note that it is not due to the software error. It means that stress on the 1st shell course is more than allowable(refer to API 650 Table 5-1) thereof bottom plate can not bare this stress. To solve this problem, increase the 1st shell course thickness.
