Hello,

My question is on the following:

I would like to model two conical heads(with straight flange on large end only).
The model build would be as follows:

cylinder
cone
straight side (shell)
cone
cylinder

I'm new to PVElite, was upgraded from CodeCalc.
Program will not locate one of the cylinders correctly(graphics).
Any comments?

Use the 2nd row from top in PV ELite Menu to build your model by selecting proper element per your equipment from bottom to top.

I have prepared similar model for you as described by you but cant attach as I dont find any attachment button here.

Dear Rodmanc,

If u have a problem in modeling the vessel then goto the "PVElite quick start " under the "Help" tab. There u can find how to model the vessel in PVElite.

If still u have problem, then provide u r mail-id, i will send the vessel model as described by u in the above post.
