A query has been raised as to "how" or "whether" Caesar II takes care of Section 7.2.2 Extension due to pressure automatically when Code BS 7159 is specified. There is an equivalent temperature defined in formula 7.3 in BS 7159.

Below is a portion of the Help text for the "New Job Bourdon Pressure" cell in the CAESAR II Configuration Editor:

"Note: The BOURDON EFFECT (translation only) is always considered when FRP pipe is used, regardless of the actual setting of the BOURDON FLAG."
