We are getting real close to finishing the necessary piping code updates, while working on documentation and beta testing.

Hopefully we can ship by mid-August.

Can you set the save reminder in a way to remind you to save after you have made any change? If is based in time only becomes a bit of annoying asking you to save something that is already saved…
I know that I can switch it off but the other way around is not safe at all!!!

The timer is supposed to reset itself (back to the max) each time you manually save the input.

That is exactly my point, the timer should be activated after the first modification (from the file saved) not right after the saving, because the way is working now keeps asking to save something that you could probably have not changed at all. And if you save without making any modification when you wan to review the output you get a file time warning, which makes you hasitate about the results that you want to review.

Something like
1. If filename= saved set timer= 0 and modification first = no (resets timer and modification each time the file is saved)
2. If modification first = yes, start timer. (starts timer after first modification)
3. If Timer = 30min. ask saving (ask for save if user hasn't saved in the last 30 min after his first modification)
4. If modification first = yes and file= close. ask saving (prevents accidantally closing a modified file)
regards,

Richard,

Wasn't it determined that saving alone did NOT reset the timer? Or was this corrected?

Richard

The timer should now reset on a "save".

We started shipping new orders using Version 5.00 yesterday (Oct 27th), using CDs we burned here.

Updates for existing customers will commence once we receive the mass produced CDs from the disk duplicator. This should hopefully be by the end of next week.
