ISO14692 uses ASTM D2992 or equal test method to get strength values (LTHS), just like UKOOA, so this is the same. This instead of the elongation criterium from BS7159.
UKOOA referred to BS7159 for SIF factors, where two types of Tees are given, moulded and laminated. ISO14692 doesn't make this distinction (this was also never completely incorporated in CII for BS7159/UKOOA btw).
I got an email recently from one of the major GRP manufacturers stating that ISO14692 in CII shouldn't be used as there are doubts regarding the stress check formulas in the code. They still prefer to use UKOOA. I don't really understand this as UKOOA and ISO14692 are more or less the same concerning stress check.
They said a new ISO14692 committee is formed to check and discuss the current formulas. I haven't had the opportunity to check this with ISO so can't verify this. If anyone can, please tell me.
