What are the operating condition limitation for which one has to opt for tubesheet with knuckle ?

How is the knuckle radius and knuckle thickness decided ?

ASME section UHX does not address that type of construction. You would probably best do that as a tubesheet that is integral with the shell and channel. That would not give an exact result, but would be a work-around to at least get an analysis.

Do any design code addresses the design of a tubesheet with a knuckle radius. Also is there any provision in PVElite for the same ?
