When I try to open I-Configure, I got an error message saying "Component 'sssplt30.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." How to fix this problem?

Thanks,

Hope Coade sends you the patch to be loaded in your machine. This is the problem every user is facing.

No we can't. Unfortunately I-Configure and Personal Isogen rely on this OCX file. This OCX is not an "Alias supplied" file. This is a 3rd party file, that for "copyright reasons" we can't distribute (it's not our file either).

If you don't have this file on your machine, search for it on the Internet, install it, then register it.

Thanks, PKU and Richard.

There is already a sssplt30.ocx file in folder C:\Program Files\COADE\CAESAR II 5.20.

I try to register sssplt30.ocx. But I got an error message "LoadLibrary("C:\Program Files\COADE\CAESAR II 5.20\sssplt30.ocx") failed - The specified module could not be found."

How to fix this problem?

Thanks,

That file, "sssplt30.ocx", is supposed in the windows' system directory, for XP 32 bit machine, it is C:\Windows\System32. Locate that file file, and register it. If you can not find it, I can send one to you by E-Mail.

Thanks, Shawn. This problem has been solved.

I have a new question:

In the ISO, the units of the restraint loads are in English units. I would like to change it to MM units. How to do that?

Before you start C2Isogen, you need to run Configure/Setup from CAESAR main menu Tools. In the "Database Definitions" group, choose "MM.FIL" for units file name, click "Save" button to exit.

Run output processor to check the restraint report shows the results in MM unit, delete the xxx_output.xml file, then start the isogen module to generate the output data again.

Shawn,

I followed your instructions but ISOGEN still shows the English units even if the restrain report shows the MM units.

Did you remember to delete the output.xml file before you start CAESAR isogen? You can also try to convert the CAESAR II file into MM unit, go to main menu Tools->Convert Input to new units...

You can send me CAESAR II file too.

Yes, I deleted output.xml file before I started ISOGEN. The CAESAR input and output are all MM units. Just the ISOGEN always shows English units.
