Is it possible to determine need for Fatigue Analysis per "ASME SECTION VIII DIVISION 2, PART. AD-160.2" in PVelite?

If yes, then could you plz provide me the necessary instruction.

Hi mihir11

This is the note that appears in PV Elite:

Per AD-160 Condition A: Fatigue analysis WAS required for this Component!

Max Stress Intensity is taken as 3.0 Sm which is 60000.000 psi
Given Number of Cycles is 15000.
Allowable Num of Cycles without a Fatigue Analysis is 2456.

When you refer to AD-160.2 you are making reference to the 2004 version of ASME VIII, Division 2. The principle for requiring a fatigue analysis is that you first take the value of 3 x Sm. Then using that value to find the number of cycles that are allowed. If the number of cycles is greater that the actual total number of cycles, then a fatigue analysis is not required.
