There is a problem with the maximum thickness of the material used as shell material.
I used A283 Gr.C material with a thicness of 32 mm (for bottom course). Tank 2.55 program did not give any error message.
But I realized that the maximum thickness can be used for A283 material is 25 mm as per API 650 4.2.2 ( and also for as per the API 650 code 2.2.2 which Tank 2.55 based on )

I urgently need an answer if there is a problem with the program.
What I have to do?

You're correct, the possibility of specifying an input thickness greater than the maximum allowed for a particular material is not checked by the software.

You should go back and change the input thickness to 25mm.

If in "Design Mode", the program is designing a thickness that exceeds the maximum for the material, I'd appreciate it if you could e-mail the job in so we could take a look at it. The program should not recommend a thickness larger than the maximum.

Program make calculations based on the user input data but there is small notification. I think that this kind of eror should be a fatal error like the maximum shell thickness.
