Dear All,

I'm using Caesar 5.1(Build 070917).

I cann't open the Caesar file. It shows CAESAR II HAS STOPPED WORKING.(See the attachment for details.)

Problem event Name : APPCRASH
Application Name : PREPIP.EXE

I uninstalled software & installed it again. But there is no use it,same error message is appearing.

Can anybody explain what is the problem & how to rectify it?

Thanks & Regards
GS

It appears you're running the initial release/build of CAESAR II version 5.10. You should update to the last build of Version 5.10 from this website. The file you want is: c2510_090206a.exe.

Updating may or may not solve your problem. Typically when the input processor just crashes, the issue is related to the device driver for the graphics board and how it iteracts with the HOOPS graphics libraries. To alter the driver used, go to the Configuration Module, and on the "Graphics" tab, switch the video driver from OPENGL to "Windows Basic Video".

(If you're not getting e-mail noticies regarding new builds, please register your software using the link below the "Help Menu".

ThankYou Mr.Richard.

I updated & changed the video driver from OPENGL to windows basic video.
Now it is working perfectly.

But I dont know how & why the video driver changed automatically?.

Thanks & Regards

We default to OPENGL, the performance is better (if it works).

What are you using for a graphics card? Not all of them support OpenGL, or support it fully.
