Is anyone aware of a ANSYS to Caesar translator?

Would anyone be interested in a translator if one was available?

What is ANSYS Translator? Would you mind letting us know what it is and what can it help to Caesar or stress calculations? Thanks.

ANSYS is a general purpose FEA program, see www.ansys.com. We use it for some piping analysis and also CAESAR for pipe flexibility analysis. We want a translator to reduce the effort required to create a model in both ANSYS and CAESAR.

There is no "translator" between ANSYS and CAESAR II that I am aware of.

WELL NO SUCH TRANSLATOR IS AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET ONLY THAT IF YOU COULD MAKE AN IN HOUSE SOFTWARE. WELL I JUST WANTED TO SUGGEST YOU THAT YOU NEED NOT MODEL THE ENTIRE SYSTEM IN ANSYS AS WELL AS IN CAESAR, FIRST DO THE ENTIRE ANALYSIS IN CAESAR AND LOOK FOR AREAS OF CONCERN IN THE MODEL AND THOSE CRITICAL AREAS YOU CAN MODEL IN ANSYS AND GET THE EXACT RESULTS WITH THE HELP OF FEM.

We have just completed a first interation of a tool that translates a CAESAR piping and structural model into ANSYS. Still some extra information to enter into the CAESAR model after the translation but it does work and save some time.
