Talking about facts...So here a few facts for your info:
a) When one says "I beg to differ" & "Correct me if I'm wrong" , he's not making a statement or being rude or putting forward a fact.
b) "Struts are far better effective in tension than compression." Does this mean , by any chance , I'm putting forward the idea that struts can't be used in compression?? I just said "far better effective" & not that they can't be used at all.
c)Wikipedia is not a stress engineer & the struts mention in their article are structural components used for designing of structure & not piping struts used as special pipe supports.
& last but most important fact
d) This a platform where users are intended to help each other & not to degrade someone or just to counter other views by looking into wikipedia.
I guess I've made myself clear to you!!!
Thanks,
Keep Smiling,
