I am having an issue being able to generate a MS Word report with the "Output Viewer Wizard".

MS Word opens and the Input Echo, Misc. Data, Load Case Report & Warnings are inserted in the report and then it stops... no more progress.

I get this error message:
Window title: "OutP02"
Error message: "Object has been deleted"

I've had this error in the past, but then it "went away"... I haven't run a report in a while and now I'm back at it and getting the error again. Am I doing something wrong ? I've rebooted and retried...

Any ideas ? Anyone else ever get this error ?

Thanks,
Bryce.

Bryce,
First, make sure you run the latest build of CAESAR II 070122 reposted on January 31, 2007. Read and follow the instructions on the downloads page [http://www.coade.com/support_downloads.asp?varflag=CAESARII&varreturn=dl]. Remember to run the MoveFiles.bat after extracting ZIP archive contents into CAESAR II v5.00 directory.
You can check your current build from CAESAR II main menu Help -> About CAESAR II...
Also, open your CAESAR II v5.00 execution directory with Windows Explorer and verify that there are 6 files (including Outp02.exe and OutWord.dll) dated 01/30/2007.

Yes, sorry I forgot to mention, I am running the latest build (070122).

Not sure what 6 files you are referring to in that directory (there are a bunch), but I do have OUTP02.exe and OutWord.dll (both are dated 1/22/2007). There are 19 total files in that directory dated 1/22/2007.

I tried running the report again without the code compliance summary since someone here suggested that might keep it from crashing. That didn't help.

I'm wondering if re-downloading and "installing" (using the movefiles.bat) might help ?

I just found that if I run the General Computed Results alone in one report and then run the Standard Reports for the Load Cases in another report I can get it to work without crashing. Then I have to manually combine the two reports together.

Not very convenient, but it works for now. Hopefully someone else has a fix or better work around. Thanks.

Well, this is exactly what I said: the 070122 build was *re-posted* on January 31, 2007 because of this exact problem. There were several files specifically addressed and those files will have the date of January 30, 2007 when extacted into the program directory.
If you downloaded the build in the week between 01/22 and 01/31, then you have to get the "fresh" copy again and extract it in the similar manner following the instructions.
I apologize for the inconvenience.

Since you're running Version 5.10, you want to download and install "c2510_090206a.exe".

The biggest problem with exporting to WORD is that you can send too much data, and WORD chokes. If problems persist, try sending one report at a time to WORD.

(If you're not receiving e-mail notices when new builds are released, please register your software (from the linke under \Help on the Main Menu). This is the only way we have of contacting users, and as you can see here, it is rather important.)
