Hello Somnath
A Toriconical cone (one with a knuckle radius) can have an angle greater than 30 degrees. However, ASME VIII Division 1 does not state what the maximum angle should be in the case of internal pressure. Where external pressure is concerned, the maximum half apex angle is 60 degrees.
Toriconical cones are not subject to the Appendix 1-5 or 1-8 analysis.
