I have seen some suport standard where they don,t provide direct resting from structure instead of they provide rod in between pipe support and structural steel.
please explain what will be advantage of using rod
as per my understanding stress will be very high because of line conact.
and i dont find any advantage of that

Two reasons:

1) Provide point loading , isn't it this way you model in CAESAR?

2) To avoid crevice corrosion.

Stresses due to point loading will be definitely high, but really there is nothing known as point loading.
