Dear all,

I am using Pvelite software. for captioned object, please answer my questions.

1. The factor of stress concentration is same as stress indices as per DIV.2 ANNEX 5.D ??

2. And The consideration of junction stress is different with WRC107's local stress??

3. Generally, the stress increase factor is used of 1 to 3.
But what case of each factor is applied for vessel openings?
incase of factor=1, is this same value between shell and nozzle?

4. Also What is differ of inside corner, outside corner and it is located on head or shell??

I appreciated your best answers.

Best regards,

Stress indices provide the stress concentration factor for pressure loading.

I believe this SCF refers to the inside corner.

The stress increase factor may be the factor 1.5 for general Primary + local primary and 3 for primary + secondary stresses.

This stress values are on the shell.
