Hello Luis,
Thanks for getting back to us so quick! Most appreciated.
I've already done the debugging outlined in your attachment before posting here, as it can be easily found on google.
I've tried permutations of the fixes suggested. Allowing broadcast, but upping timers.. dropping timers, but disallowing broadcast etc...
Unfortunately, none of this has made any difference to the client machine.
The machine that is reporting the #6031 on startup, allows PVElite to run after hitting the OK button on that dialog box.
Logging into the licence server on port 1947 shows the client as connected successfully, and the session looks good.
When the machine that is reporting error #6031 closes PVElite after forcing it to start, the session on the licence server is successfully removed.
If I attempt to view ESL information from within PVElite after it has finished loading, the application goes into an infinite loop of Fatal Error #6031 and must be killed by ending the task.
I'll email you detail of our testing procedure and will take this enquiry off the forum.
I will be sure to post a fix, when we find one, be it hex editing the exe, formatting the box, cleaning the registry, or whatever, to enable other's to perform it.
Thanks,
Joe
