I have done flange leakage & stress analysis for high pressure piping

Can any one tell me what is the solution if load coming on the flange is more?

what to do next to avoid leakage.

You either eliminate the external bending moment on the flange connection or increase the flange class to take the load by selecting suitable gasket.

Thanks for your reply.

I think that basically leakage is mainly because of axial force.

...

But it is all ready higher piping class.

actually my senior told me to increase no. of bolt.

If you think the cause of the leakage is the axial force ( I do not think so ) you need to reduce the axial force. In case you can not increase the flange class what else you can do. Be a bit more logical.

TRY TO CALCULATE AND APPLY HIGHER TORQUE TO BOLTS

OTHER SOLUTION CAN BE TO USE NC 3658
