i have one problem

actually pipe is burried and the pipe is connecting to the nozzle in underground vessel. for this i have given the valve pit near the equipment nozzle. but once i analyse the system the load is coming very high in axial direction because of the displacement in axial direction.please help us how to resolve this problem . even i have given anchoe support near the valve pit so that displacement should not tranfer to the nozzle , but due to the anchor huge reaction force is acting on nozzle . so that is also not acceptable.

plz help us how to resolve this issue

hi,
I think you must be using ASME B31.4 for this analysis. Now can you tell me that is the allowable stress ratio in the stress report for operating case is coming to zero at the anchor point?
