Is there anyway to import a code/standard that is used in another country? I'm currently working on a project in Russia that uses the GOST standard, but unfortunately that's unavailable in CAESAR to my knowledge. Does COADE offer any solution/update to allow one to import the standards/values used in these different codes not already supported in CAESAR?

Thanks for the help!

Sorry, but 'no'. Incorporating a new Code into CAESAR II is a rather detailed task. For example, different Codes treat corrosion differently, some have different nuances regarding SIF computations, sometimes the "stress equations" differ. Each of these items must be specifically addressed in the software on a 'per Code' basis.

Thank you very much Dave, I plan on forwarding this certificate to my supervisor. I think the real problem lies with the Russian code using different SIFs, etc. instead of the problem being with the program itself.

I greatly appreciate your help.

Mav,
If you read this certificate well, then you noticed that it sais “CAESAR II conforms to the requirements of the following 3 standards”; it does not say these standards are implemented. Also, at the bottom of the page, in the "Additional Information" section, there is a sentence “This certificate is not valid without 2-page notarized appendix”. Perhaps, this appendix is not included in the current download image (although, we have it on hands). Well, the appendix lists specific sections/paragraphs from the mentioned standards that CAESAR II was checked against.
